Not sure if this has been posted already, but I live in an apartment complex and ups leaves the package at the front desk and a note on the front doors of the apartment complex. Do I need to pre-sign for it online or should I be fine and theyll leave it at the front desk.

Will the front desk be signing it? If so then you don't need pre-authorizations.

I believe so, they drop it upfront and leave a note on the front door of the apartment complex. When I go into pick up any packages the front desk always makes me sign for my package on their own clipboard before I can even pick it up.

Is there someone to sign for it, or is it a drop off?

If there's no one to sign then you will need to pre-authorize.

I believe the front desk signs for it and then makes me sign for it when I go to pick it up

My point is if you're not sure if there is someone to sign for them, you need to pre-authorize. Either double check with the front desk or pre-sign.
