What exactly does that mean? My itouch was shipped on 9/7 and it's in route now...and i have an option to pre-sign. Does that mean they'll drop it off at my doorstep if i'm not available?

It requires a signature for delivery from FEDEX. If you are not home, FEDEX will only leave a notice on your door. You can print the form and tape it to your door and FEDEX will leave your package.
