I've read mixed answers on this, but will I be able to pre-sign for my iPhone ordered through apple?

I would not but I think you can. You are absolutely hosed if things go south.
 
I did this the last time they allowed it. For the 4 I think? Worked out perfectly. I'm really hoping they'll do it this time. Feel pretty confident living on a military base that no one would mess with it.
 
Why not redirect he shipping carrier to hold it at a near by carrier store near you?! I've done this with the iphone 5 on launch day.

Didn't we read sad stories from members last year and the year before that, who did same and the neighbor or someone else grabbed the phone because it was left on the front doorstep, and the customer never got the phone ? :eek:

I live in a rural area and the closet carrier store is about 45 minutes away. Would rather have it at my house. I should be there but there's no telling when it will be delivered.
