I have pre-ordered the iPhone 6 + and have a delivery date of oct1-6. I was planning on going to my local verizon store around 5 tomorrow morning in hopes of getting a 6+. My pre order just went to the preparing for shipment phase and says it is no longer able to cancel but I can return it after I receive it. My question is if I do indeed get a 6+ tomorrow morning will they a. Charge me the non contract price or will I be able to use my upgrade on the in-store purchase. B. if I do end up paying the non contract price and use the in-store purchased phone, would I be refunded the full non contract price when I returned my pre-ordered phone when I receive it Oct 1-6?

Thanks!

Best guess: you will pay full price tomorrow. Then when you return the preorder, you will get what you paid back, and then Verizon will give you your upgrade back. So it will be like paying the no-contract price.
