This may be unrealistic & impractical in many situations, but what if you could project your iPhone screen onto a surface in front of you.

Not referring to a holographic image, but a function that mimicks that of a home theatre projector, blowing up your display, whilst maintaining a high resolution.

An "iCanvas" fold out mini projector screen (optional extra $$$ :D) may be required depending on your environment, but if for eg. you sat yourself down at a table in a cafe facing a blank wall, you could project your screen onto that, to turn your iPhone into a virtual iPad for when you don't want to carry your tablet with you.

Primary uses would be for browsing, reading, videos or whatever else you can think of.

To compliment this, a projected keyboard could also be shot out from the phone. This one isn't new though, but it'd look pretty cool to have a screen & keyboard projected out from your device.
