iPad Prediction: The new iPad Air 2 will run an iOS/Mountain Lion hybrid

I just wanted to throw this out there - I think there will be a new OS X / iOS hybrid for the new iPad Air. This will be the "killer feature" this year, enabling things like split screen multitasking, true multitasking, etc. It will also enable an even more seamless Handoff feature between Macs and iPhones.

I think the Mini will retain a standard iOS because of the screen size, making the utility of the new OS a little bit less.

This would be a totally killer feature, but Mountain Lion isn't the answer.

I actually think this would completely change Apples iPad sales.

Who knows just maybe?
