So here comes iPhone X ... gets rid of TouchID in favor of FaceID and A11 Bionic chip, AR, wireless charging, etc etc ... , which I am completely fine with, but kind of mad I bought the 10.5" iPad and is already "outdated" technology ... even though keynote showed them touting its experience on iOS 11. Then of course a year ago I bought the MacBook Pro which was game changing with TouchID in my opinion ... use it everyday ... but now what ...?

Next year iPad with FaceID, smaller bezel, but no AR capability or wireless charging? then following year finally catch up to iPhone?

Next 2-3 years with no FaceID in Macs?

I just want consistent technology instead of making it so you feel the need to upgrade every year ... dont even get me started on watches!

whats next in lineup in your mind?

The iPad always gets the latest technology AFTER the iPhone typically a year later. It was the same with the Retina display, TouchID, etc. The iPhones are the breadwinner for Apple where people upgrade every single year where as iPads typically get upgraded in households every few years. Apple plays up to it’s strengths.
