iPhone Predictive typing won't toggle from keyboard (iPhone 6s)

Not sure if it is just my 6s, but I haven't been able to toggle or untoggle the predictive typing function from the keyboard since iOS 9.0.2. Issue is still here in 9.1. I can only do so from the Keyboard settings.

Anybody? Just to clarify, this means trying to toggle the Predictive function from the standard keyboard, via the Globe button. When I try to do that, it wouldn't toggle/untoggle, but will just remain where the setting was originally.
