Preference Pane Crashes... how to fix?

Hey,

With Lion, my Mail and Icloud Preference Panes are crashing System Preferences.

I started a new user account and tried, no crashes....

how do i diagnose or fix this problem without starting a whole new account?

I already tried deleting my library/preferences/system pref's file... no luck... must be another system pref... of hundreds!

how to proceed?

Hmm. What happens when you go to prefs within Mail (Mail>Preferences, not System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendar)?

Did you try deleting the following?

/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist​
