This might sound weird, but one of the biggest peeves I have about premiere is the way the control sliders work. When I worked in COLOR (FCP) I was able to mirco-control things with my scroll wheel or arrow keys.

IS THERE a way to do this in premiere?

No sorry. you can either "scrub" by dragging with the mouse, or by clicking and entering a number.

If you'd like scroll wheel control or arrow control for effects parameters, you can make a feature request: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

Funny how the little things drive us crazy eh?
I would love to see it.
Gonna write in.
Maybe I will give this editing a try with my graphics tablet....
