I'm used to using FCP/Express with Sony cameras and so would really appreciate some advice as to using JVC GY-HM100 solid state camera with Premiere Pro (CS4). I'm using this set-up at a local school.
Has anyone got any experience of using this combination and can advise the best ways to:
Import footage (do you need to use third party codec or can you drag and drop) Native QT obviously not compatible with Premiere, so recording MP4.
The correct Premiere project settings - HDV 720p?
Export settings appear limited - best way to export Fill quality HD 16:9?
Any help to point me in the right direction greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
