Preorder after keynote or at a later date?

I'll be in a class during the keynote, I'm wondering if you think they'll announce a preorder date like they did with the iP4 where on that date you'd go online to preorder, or if preorders start tomorrow and it will be a madhouse and I won't know they've started.

What do you guys think?

Who knows what they will do to prevent the online pre-order fiasco from last year. Will put my bets on something similar this year though, just refined.

Your only option is to skip class if they do have preorders starting right away, otherwise I don't recommend it.

there really is no way to know. Apple usually follows a loose keynote, pre-order, release timeline but it's never the same from year to year. The fact that we are having this discussion in October instead of June is proof enough of that.
