Preorder and Ship To Location

Do pre-orders from Apple allow you to ship to a different location than your billing address, assuming that address is on file with your credit card company? I seem to recall that it wasn't allowed last year (I didn't pre-order - I waited in line), but I wasn't sure.

I'd like to know too. I'll be ordering from new zealand and it will be shipped in an australian address. I'm hoping that it's possible.

Does anyone who pre-ordered last year know this? I'd hate to stay up until 2 AM tonight and find out that I can't do this.

I know for people who were upgrading your ship to address had to match the address on file with the carrier... at least for AT&T. I dont know what they were doing for people setting up new service.
