I was going through the Apple webpage to practice ordering my IP17 Pro and checked to see how much trade in credit I can get for my IP14 Pro. I see there is an instant credit, but they also showed an additional $530 trade in credit from Verizon.

In the past I always ordered from Verizon and sent them my trade in directly. Has anyone ordered though Apple with the option to trade in with Verizon? Not sure how the program works. Order, get instant trade in credit from Apple, take old phone to Verizon store and get bill credits for the remaking $530 over the next 36 months. Does it work like that?

Going through Apple, with Verizon financing, the monthly charges on your Verizon bill will be (cost of the phone less the trade-in credit)/36. Then there will be a credit of 530/36. You’ll mail your trade-in in (to Apple, I believe).
