Preorder from O2 Simplicity 12 Contract (UK)

Hey all

I've searched a few places for this but I can't find the answer. Has anyone here got any experience of preordering an iPhone 5 when on a 12 month simplicity contract from O2.

I've just been informed (after 5 hours of chasing around) that preorder is not available to simplicity customers. It seems a little daft to me so I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this, good or bad!?

i was on a 1 month rolling contract on simplicity and had no issues. Mixed reports of upgrades with 12 month contracts, supposedly just call and you'll find out.
