Preorder-In Store pickup process?

For those of you that have been through the process before, if you preorder the iPhone and request in-store pickup, will you be able to just walk into the store the morning of launch day and pick it up or do you need to camp out beforehand to get it? thanks

There is a separate line for reservations. Usually very quick. They haven't said that they're doing that this year, unless I've missed it.

I'm sure we'll know more as Thursday evening draws closer, but if it's anything like the i4 release, you'll have to camp out or at least arrive a little early to get one in person.

But seriously, why bother? Pre-order online at 12:01 AM PST, and if that fails, go in person 5-6 hours later
