Can you do do this if you're currently in a contract with o2? Or would you need to order from o2 directly as they'll deal with the contract side of things?

I just had an online chat with Apple and they "have no information" regarding anything to do with iPhone 4 pre-orders - whether it will be just pay as you go, or contract or carriers or prices.
They said to check back tomorrow.
