I'm in the UK, I pre-orederd a base 17 to be picked up next Saturday. It says my order is being processed. But above it, it says that my new phone is ready to Pre-order?? Have I done something wrong?!

iPhone 17 Preordered a 17; "Order is being processed", but WHY does it say "Your new iPhone is ready to pre-order"...??!

I had that too. When I clicked on it, it said the iPhone I saved has been deleted. Then the message about my new iPhone waiting to pre-order went away. I think your order is fine.
I think the Apple Store app has a bunch of UX no-no's that end up being confusing so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
