Luckily midnight PST is 4PM here in Tokyo so I was able to line up after work. I was number 7 when I arrived around 2PM and now there's roughly 50 people in line.
They have us some refreshments for waiting in line.

They just let the first 12 people in the store and we are now waiting for our number to be called once 4 rolls around. Also I'm at a KDDI AU shop. I'm sure the Apple flagship shops are madness.
