So this will be the first time I preorder an iPhone using Verizon's financing (or anyone's financing) so I was looking for everyone's help. I did a mock purchase for an iPhone 8 to help me know the process. And I think it saved my info (carrier check?). How much do you expect to be charged for preordering the X? Taxes and upgrade fee only? How do I enable Apple Pay via the Apple app? I've looked but can't see how to do it. With financing, is it a monthly charge so i have to more or less keep the same card on file for auto pay? Do we get charged monthly only when or soon after the phone gets to me? I'm doing in store pick up. Am I missing anything to consider prior to Friday? Im planning to use my discover card (but I may not) but I had an issue with them when I tried to purchase the 8 and 8+ and watch for store pick up at launch because I never received notification that my items were ready for pickup. So I ended up canceling my order and just getting the 8 (I returned in soon after) and the 8+. It looked like someone from Apple tried supposedly to contact me regarding my order and that is why it was held up. Should I use that card or another ?
