Prepaid SIM in the US?

I've got an iPhone 3GS from T-Mobile Germany, *not* jailbroken or unlocked (with a contract/plan with t-mobile germany).

Does anybody know if T-Mobile America has prepaid SIM cards that would work in my iPhone?

If it's locked in Germany (Deutsche Telekom, right?), then it can't be used without unlocking.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

(I was hoping that it's only net locked and that T-mobile Germany and T-mobile America are basically the same network.)
