Hey guys,
sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't quite get the info I needed. Chalk it up to me if you want
So, I've decided to sell my old MBP on eBay because it's broken. Just selling it because it's been working fine and now the GPU is faulty, therefore a logic board replacement didn't seem to be economic to me. It's the first gen MBP with an Intel CoreDuo btw. So maybe someone may either repair it by soldering or whatever or use it as a spare parts depot.
As I said the GPU is faulty. The MBP may work for 10 minutes and then the "Screen on LSD" kicks in, turning it useless.
I've been using 10.6.3 till the end but I'd like to keep this license and sell it with 10.4 which was preinstalled.
I'm currently wiping the 10.6. disk as we speak - put it in a USB enclosure and hooked it up to my Mac Mini using 10.6. Is there a way to prepare that MBP HDD which is currently hooked up via USB to a 10.6 machine with the original 10.4 install image so that I can put it back into the MBP?
