I'm selling my mid-2012 MacBook Pro and I would like to do a complete system wipe so it's basically back to factory settings.

From what I've gathered, since the computer didn't come with a startup disk I'll need to use Internet Recovery to download Mac OS X again, correct? The only issue is my school's wifi is protected and in order to access it I'll need an OS to set it up (this issue slowed me when I tried setting up my new MBA).

What's the best way to go about preparing my MBP for sale? Do I need to remove the OS and reinstall it or is there an alternative? I'm really new to this stuff so I don't know what I'm doing.

The key points: I need to restore my laptop for sale, and there are no disks or internet connection as far as I know.
