Preparing FCP for 5.1

I've never done any 5.1 sound in my life. I'm putting together a film trailer and want to give the audio a go in 5.1. I normally use Pro Tools for my audio work but want to keep it simple and use Soundtrack Pro. Could you guys give me some tips on how to organise a sequence so it's ready for 5.1 in soundtrack pro.
