Hey all,

So I am super excited like all other folk here who ordered a new iPhone. Since having iPhone from the original I have never in my life ordered one the first day you were allowed to order online. So this is exciting.

Initially I was going to go on join the IUP but here in the U.K. it’s not easy to do that due to covid. So I ended up ordering the iPhone 12 mini 256GB in blue over 24 months from Apple.

So delivery time is due on 18th November. I am hoping it arrives earlier but see how it goes. Will be a bonus if it does arrive earlier.

So far I have ordered an esim from my provider. Never had an esim before but I thought hey why not when it’s supported. I think it’s supported on my XR however looking forward to having it on the new iPhone. Question though? My understanding is that I will have to scan the QR code when I receive it from my provider. I don’t need to put my current nano sim in the new iPhone to active my esim do I?

Also I have ordered the Anker Nano USB C Charger as I thought that I might as well take advantage of faster charging on the iPhone.

Since I have gone for the blue colour I thought the best case I can go for is the Torras Crystal clear case. All the reviews for this case are great from what I have seen.

I have also ordered TORRAS 9H Toughen Tempered Glass Screen Protector. Again this looks good from the reviews. It also comes with a easy to apply guide and frame. This is the first time I have ordered a glass protector that’s not a Belkin one that they install at the Apple store. So saving some money with this one.

Also decided to get Air Pods Pro to go with the new iPhone as I have the first gen pros and my wife uses them these days more than me. Hmm apart from that I think I am all ready for the iPhone 12 mini. Don’t think I have missed anything have in preparing for my iPhone lol.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your new phone and accessories! I’ve not used an e-sim yet. I have just been moving my little SIM card from one phone to another. So far doing that has helped me avoid activation fees with my carrier in the US.

I think the iPhone colors have turned out surprisingly beautiful this year. The renders didn’t do them any favors but the two colors I’ve seen in person and the others I’ve seen in photos and videos all looked great. I wish I could afford them all! Lol.

Thank you for sharing your excitement here. Your post made me smile. I wish you all the best.
