Need to prepare my PowerBook G4 with Leopard for sale, and since the person I bought it from didn't have the original discs, I do not have them to utilize for a hard drive wipe.
In my defense, the guy I bought it from did give me some CD-R discs, saying he didn't have the originals. Turned out they were blank, of course. Caveat emptor, clearly. Admittedly I should have gone back and confronted him, but that's not my personality (to my own detriment.)
Moving on! Thankfully we haven't done much on the computer in the way of personal info. Is there anything else I need to know besides uninstalling/deleting any personal files? Browser history, and so on? I'm relatively new to Macs, so don't know if they're as notorious for leaving miscellaneous stuff behind after an uninstall as PCs are (though I highly doubt it.) Thanks in advance.
