Hi,

I am preparing to sell my iPhone 3G S. I noticed that when I got the 3G S from the AT&T store, an "AppleCare Protection Plan" sealed box came with it. I never did anything with it (didn't open it, nothing). Apparently, you have to register your AppleCare agreement...

Does that mean that this AppleCare agreement number and iPhone 3G S hardware serial number has NOT been activated at Apple and therefore this AppleCare protection plan has not "started" yet?

In other words, in my Ebay auction, can I say that it comes with an "unactivated AppleCare plan that hasn't started"?

Let me know if I have this straight... don't want to mislead anybody.
