I'm getting ready to sell my 16gb iPhone 4, and want to basically wipe all of the data while keeping the jailbreak. I also want to be able to move my backed up information to my JB 3GS (currently running 4.3.1 I believe).

The iPhone 4 currently is jailbroken (untethered) on 4.3.3, and I would like to preserve that for resale value. What steps do I need to take to clear all of my information out, while still preserving the jailbreak?

Won't reset all content and settings get it done?

Edit: Did a little research, and doing this would lose the jailbreak.

Dont reset settings and content unless you have saved blobs

No, all that would do is put the phone in a recovery mode boot loop and then he'd be stuck having to DFU restore to get it to start up.
OP find out what shsh blobs you have available.
You can restore to any of those firmware versions and rejailbreak.

Sorry to almost mis inform op. Been a while for me, I too am on 4.3 JB, but all my blobs are saved.

Let us know what route you went on this.
thx

I do have all of my blobs saved in TinyUmbrella; though I've never used it before to restore to a firmware that's no longer signed.

Tigres, no worries; I appreciate the efforts.

If you have saved shsh blobs then you can restore to factory firmware on 4.3.3 then just re-JB.
