I'm starting a Graphic Deisgn class on monday, and I have the money for the entry level iMac 21,5. Will this handle Adobe CS5.5/6? I'm mainly running Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. I presently run it on a Toshiba with a dual core i5 and I feel it's a bit sluggish.

I do think I need one now, and I just want to know how it will handle the programs I'm using. Anyone with experience? Thinking of buying the cheapest iMac and upgrade the RAM to 12 gb.

Thanks!

Jesper

Yes it'll handle those programs just fine.

More than enough horse power for those applications. Adding RAM is the best you could do to a computer. Then comes the SSD.

It'll be faster but if you can hold on for a little longer, the iMac update is due soon ... "one of these months"
