Preserve data when reverting from iOS4 to 3.1.2?

I have an old bootrom 3GS which was jailbroken in the past with blackra1n and then to 3.1.3 with sn0wbreeze. I upgraded to stock iOS4 to try it out because I figure I can revert back with saved SHSH's. Anyway, I miss my jailbreak apps especially lockinfo. If I revert back to 3.1.2 can I preserve my data - emails, texts, settings? If I can't it's not that big a deal because this will be my wife's phone soon. Just waiting for a case for my iPhone4 to arrive before activating and will have to wait for a JB on that anyway.
