running os x 10.4.11 on a macbook.
just bought a firebox a couple of days ago.... everything is working great except the headphone output.
i have a pair of krk rokit powered 5's hooked up to the firebox. sound comes out of both speakers and sounds great. i can record audio in logic 8 just fine....
however, audio is only coming out of the right side in my headphones. even when i'm just playing music through itunes.
seems that a lot of people are having a similar issue.... but the problem is definitely not my headphones or 1/8" to 1/4" adapter. the headphones work great in stereo when plugged into my microkorg.
i read about a bug in the firebox software mixer, but i've played around with everything there to no avail.
can anyone think of something i'm doing wrong?
or is there another easy way to monitor using headphones? i'm on a deadline!
*EDIT* it seems that when i mess with the headphone volume knob on the firebox, audio comes in and out of the left ear.
i must have a defective box??
