I have been having problems setting up my Presonus Inspire to act as the audio interface with my Mac.
This is what I have:
iBook G3 Power PC, 900MHz/256MB SDRAM
(I know it's within the lower range of the Inspire spec, but I hope to upgrade in a few months)
OSX 10.4.11
I have tried searching all over the web and the advice on the Presonus forum, without success. I am able to get the mic/line inputs fine, and listen to them on headphones plugged into the Inspire, but every time the box is connected and I try to play anything on an audio application on the Mac, it crashes.
The inputs and outputs are set to the Inspire, the clock is set to the device, and the sample rates for in and out are both set to 44.1kHz.
Any help appreciated.
