"And today we shipped literally tens of copies to millions of customers around the world. They literally flew off a little bookshelf in my office to customers."
Meanwhile at at Apple Care headquarters in India:
Caller: "Tiger was supposed to arrive today, but it hasn't come yet."
Support Agent: "Mr. Johnson, you are in Virginia?
Caller: Yes.
Support Agent: "I see your package has been signed for by a Mrs. Smith in California. Thank you, come again, and enjoy your new tiger."
Back at the press conference:
Steve Jobs continues:
"Fact is, Tiger looks so amazing, I am even thinking of downloading it tonight via Bit torrent and installing it on my iBook. What do you think, huh? Isn't this stuff amazing?"
"Oh and one more thing, after today we are no longer shipping products. Perhaps we'll leave them in the middle of a forest, or at the bottom of the lake, and people can just find them, if they want to."
