Ok , so the problem is , that i installed a few hours ago Windows 7 64 bit Proffesional through bootcamp , i restarted my iMac i5 , and there was a screen to choose a operation system , so i chosen Windows , everything was alright . But when i returned for a moment to OS X Snow Leopard , i wanted to go to Windows 7 again but when i restared a computer , there wasn't a screen to choose operation system again , there is always showing an Apple logo , and OS X is turning on , i googled , that i have to press Option button when restarting , and choose windows 7 , but its still doing same , thing .

So please can anyone help me , how can i go to Windows 7 again ? Not by holding down the Option button key .

Thanks

Peter

There may be a problem with your Keyboard. I had an issue with an iMac once where I had upgraded my keyboard to the new aluminum versions, and the Option key wasn't recognized at start-up. I had to reconnect my old keyboard and it's Option key worked.

In the mean time, go to System Preferences, Start-Up Disk, select your boot-camp partition and click Reboot...

I don't use BootCamp, but from distant memory, on teh Windows Side, I think there is a "Boot Camp Tools" icon in the System Tray that allows you to "Reboot to OS X"

Thanks a lot , that really helped me , i don't know what's wrong about this Option button key , but my keyboard is new and it is working perfectly so i don't know the reason of it .

But thanks again for help , that helped ;) .

you got the aluminum keyboard with numberpad and thats the problem the usb drivers for that keyboard get loaded to late so the option key does not work at the stage where you could choose between the 2 OSes
funny enough the old white keyboard does not have those issues and is usb too
dont ask why
holding down the menu button on your apple remote brings up the startup manager in the same way as using the option key on your keyboard. You can select your start disk using left and right buttons on the remote.

that helped me

I have that keyboard (it came with the 2007 Aluminium iMac) and I can use the OPTION key during boot up with my 2007 iMac and my 2009 MBP.

icould not use it for that i did need to plug in the white one to use the option key on startup on my 2006 iMac
but i used the apple remote as that was easier then unplugging and plugging in all the time a different keyboard ,

once it booted in any OS i could use the alu keyboard perfectly, so the same symptoms as the OP

I have the same problem with my new 2011 core i7 using the standard wireless keyboard. Both option keys are fully functional in OS X for shortcuts, so its not a matter of faulty hardware. However, I have found somewhat of a work around, if you spam the option (keep repeatedly pressing it similar to pressing delete to get into the BIOS of a PC) it will work and give the desired boot options. For reference purposes, I have Windows 7 Home 64 bit OEM installed via bootcamp.
