So I ordered a silicon keyboard cover for my MBP which is due in the mail anyway now. I've heard from a few people that the keyboard cover leaves imprints of keys on the screen while it's closed. My question: does this wear out the keys after a while? And does that extra pressure on the screen damage it?

I think I'm going to buy a shaggy Mac to kill the imprinting keys problem. And I don't intend on buying a moshi anytime soon

are u asking does the silicon keyboard cover wears out the keys??? if so, answer is no.

and no the silicon keyboard cover will not damage your screen.

however it will prob leave oily marks on the screen and will be more noticable if u have the glossy version instead of antiglare. i use this:
