Okay, not sure if anyone here uses 1800Flowers.com ever, but... on the page where you fill out the card message, it asks you what the occasion is. Does this change the type of card the person receives? Or is it just for their own records or something? I couldn't find the answer anywhere on the website...

I actually agree with the youngster from Arizona. I'd recommend proflowers.com

DO NOT USE 800 FLOWERS!!!

the flowers arrive dead... or with a VERY short life. You could get lucky with about 3 day life though.

Strange, i sent my fiancée some lilies back in april from 1800 flowers. she said they were the best ones she has ever received. They came unopened, and lasted about 2 weeks.

2nd the positive experience. sent several to different parts of the lower 48 (US) and have nothing but positive feedback from the recipients and myself to report. arrived in great shape, totally easy on my end to send, decent price. best of luck either way.

no idea on the card. all sent for different reasons to different people...

I have actually used 1-800-Flowers many times and have always been impressed. It's just that for some reason, I now was curious as to why they ask that question (never paid any attention before). Anyways, thanks for the replies.
