Prevent Apple Music from Opening when Putting on Headphones

I have a pair of Sony XM4s connected to my MacBook Air.
Each time I take the headphones off, then put them back on, Apple Music launches.
I don't use Apple Music whatsoever, so I would love to prevent this behavior.
