I hate notification pop-ups, it's intrusive and useless, or just no well timed and placed.

But what I hate even more is when applications are forcing their huge, useless notifications on your desktop like a Windows anti-virus crap.

I tried disabling it from the notification system preferences, but it's still popping up:
Does anyone know how to disable it, via the app, system or terminal command?
