I am a tech at a school district and the teachers want to stop the kids from changing the background. Student accounts are already on 'simple finder' under the parental controls, which limits only like half of the system preferences. Even if all the system preferences were disabled, students can still change the background through Firefox or Safari by right-clicking a picture and choosing 'set as desktop' or whatever. I want some sort of thing to run that says (in applescript?)
"any time the the desktop is changed to something other than 'macintosh hd:library:desktop pictures:aqua blue.jpg'; then change back it to 'macintosh hd:library:desktop pictures:aqua blue.jpg'" ... or "don't allow the change at all".
I have a script that opens at login that I made through automator and all it does is change the desktop background back to normal on login, which is fine but we want it more restrictive, like for them not to be able to change the desktop in the first place instead of logging out and back in to get it back to normal.

Or if applescript/automator isn't the answer, does someone have another idea?
