Prevent creation of ._<filename> files

Is it possible? Also, is it possible to prevent creation of .Trashes, etc.?

No because those files/folders are critical to the operation of OSX. Unix (and linux) creates .<filename> files/folders to keep them hidden. Given the normal set up of OSX they're hidden from the Finder so you shouldn't worry about them, nor should you start deleting them
