How do I prevent DVD player from automatically starting? I have turned off the autoplay, but can't find the option to turn it from launching automatically when a movie is inserted.

its under systems preferences

Under System Preferences, CDs & DVDs, change the settings you want to change.

While this works perfect in a Mac with built-in player, CD/DVD does not show in Sys Prefs on the Airs or other Macs without a built-in player. In order to find it there, you must FIRST close System Preferences, then plug an external DVD into your USB port, THEN start System Preferences and proceed as above. If system preferences is already open, it won't show until you relaunch it.
