I have a problem with image goasting / screen burn and have found this Apple web site ..

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2807?viewlocale=en_US

showing what I can do to help with this problem but , when I click on ....

2. Use this as the image displayed by the screen saver.

I am taken to a new web site that says ...

Document 151837 not found

I have searched buy no luck yet, does any one know which screen saver the Not Found document may be relating to ?

It says create an all white image. Then use this image (the white one you've just created) as the screen saver.

The link isn't for an image.

I think this site only explains how to set the image as the screen saver. An all white image is not provided and you can make one yourself.

Ive just gone to try and follow the instructions ...

Create an all-white screen in a graphics application such as AppleWorks or Photoshop, and save it as a JPEG file.

and realised I don;t have AppleWorks or Photoshop , any ideas what I can do now please ?

For example: bring up a new window in your browser and take a selection screen shot with CDM + shift + 4
Then use that image and tile or stretch it in Screen Saver prefs.
