I'm hoping a solution exists for this. I need to prevent the lockscreen from sleeping ONLY while playing music, because I use it quite a bit that way either in the car (vent mount) or in speaker docks around the house.

I use Lockscreen Dim Delay already to set a longer delay time for regular use, but what I'd like is either a toggle or activator gesture to switch between that longer time and not dimming at all. Better yet, I'd love a setup where it just didn't dim so long as music was playing. Right now, I have to remember to switch from Do Not Dim back to 90 seconds and vice versa every time I play music. It's a minor thing...except when I'm driving & realize I've forgotten again as the screen goes dark, or when I get home and discover three hours later than my screen's been lit up all that time because a notification came up and the damn thing can't turn itself off. LOL

Dim Delay doesn't have a toggle, so I end up having to go into Settings (scroll way down) -> DimDelay -> Delay (more scrolling) to reset the time each time. Tried SleepDepriver--doesn't seem to affect Lockscreen dimming, only springboard/in app. Same with Caffeine 2 with the iPod activated. This kind of setting isn't built in to MusicControlsPro, which is how I play the iPod normally. Tried NoLock (which has no configurable settings or toggle) in conjunction with DimDelay's Force Delay toggle, nope, it just eliminates any effect from DimDelay. I've dug around in Cydia, but these are all I can find so far.

Am I missing anything? It seems like such a small tweak, but maybe I'm the only one who wants such a thing?

Edit: ScreenDimmer looks like a possibility...does anyone have it? Looks like it allows you to turn off dimming while plugged in, which would be perfect--if it works with the Lockscreen on, not just the springboard or while in apps. As it's a paid tweak, can anyone confirm before I shell out $2? (Answer--a bit of digging indicates No, it doesn't work for the LS.)

Edit 2: Well, more digging turned up 20-second Lockscreen, which doesn't have as many time options as Lockscreen Dim Delay, but does have a separate timer for while docked, and that timer can be set to Never. It unfortunately won't help when I'm on a battery operated speaker unit (about half the usage) as it seems to only recognize "docked" as "while charging", but it will help with the worst problem, which is the car. There's no "never" setting for when undocked though, the longest is twenty minutes.

I think I'm going to have to email the devs for DimDelay and MusicControlsPro and see if either will consider adding some functionality to their tweaks for this.
