i want to play a playlist of small video clips in VLC whilst the video window is resized but when a new video starts the window defaults back to the original size. is there an option somewhere to prevent this?

i really wish QuickTime Player had a playlist feature as its my main video player and integrates into OS X well.

i could probably use iTunes for this but the videos need to be an iTunes format and id rather keep the stuff i sync to my iPod in my iTunes library.

Check the Advanced box in the Preferences. Select video from the parameters on the left. You should see four boxes up with -1 in each. This is the default amount for each coordinate. Alter these to jiggle about with the video sizes and positions.

thanks heaps for the reply this is a real annoyance i have with OS X. why cant QuickTime Player act like Media Player in the regard… arrrggh!

ive set all the numbers to zero but unfortunately when after a video is finished the window resizes back to the original size of the next video clip.
