I have pretty oily fingertips, and a lot of that oil transfers to my keys when I'm typing. That's not the proximate problem however. When I close the lid, a lot of the oil and grime transfers to the laptop screen and I end up with oily squares on my screen.
Is there any way to prevent this? Yes, I can clean the screen (usually use lens cleaner) but I'm having to do it pretty frequently. Is there an "oleophobic" coating I could put on the keys? Would putting a piece of paper between the bottom and lid before I close the laptop help? <sarcasm>Or should I just not type at all?</sarcasm>
