When did the comments feature disappear in Preview? I'm sure the behaviour was different from a few months ago.
Previously, comments would appear on the left of a document as in the first image (cropped from this article: http://www.ehow.com/how_4493222_add-notes-annotate-pdf-os.html), but now they just appear as little squares that you have to click on to open (2nd and 3rd attachments).
Is there any way to get the old behaviour back? It's less efficient to have little ambiguous squares that blend into the document which have to be clicked on to view its contents.
