preview app is unusable. how is it this bad right before release?

I had to fill out tax and direct deposit paperwork on my phone before a gig last night and finally had a chance to use the new preview app on ios 26. I'm shocked how bad it is.

When it detects fields in the PDF, it has a LOT of misdetections, leaving fields all over the document. If it guesses they are supposed to be signature fields, I am not allowed to enter anything else in them and they are not removable. every field detected was upside down, and every field I added manually was flipped upside down. then the file was too big to email from my phone, so I tried exporting as a series of jpegs but export only lets you export the first page. Forget it, I'll get more options editing on my mac later.

I open it on my mac, and everything has been moved around and misaligned and half the fields are flipped upside down again.

How is annotating a PDF with preview THIS BAD right before release?

Because it’s the new Apple. Polish is no longer a priority.

I cant even use my watch mic anymore! If this is what the consider acceptable this close to release, I think I'm done with apple. Yikes!

Yeah, I was excited for the Ultra 1 watch when it dropped. A better speaker and mic! I think it was good for a year then after that it's just as bad as every other watch I've had. Impossible to hear anyone on it and impossible for them to hear me unless I am talking into my watch.

Honestly, I don't know why I have a watch anymore other than to be constantly bombarded with notifications and reminders. I think once my Ultra dies that will be it for me
