In Preview on Mavericks whenever I open an image it also opens up images i opened earlier. Is there a way to make it open only the things I told it to open like in the old Preview on snow leopard?

Preview App problem on Mavericks. Help please.

Go to System Preferences > General and check the box for "Close windows when quitting an application."
