Hi everyone,
Just for the record: I'm posting here in Sierra forum because it's my current OS, but the problem I'm about to describe also used to happen with El Capitan.
I'm a "recent" photographer with a Canon DSLR camera shooting in RAW format. I use my 5K iMac to organize all my photos and when I want to preview one before actually opening it with Lightroom or Photoshop, I use, well... Preview (Space key shortcut).
The thing is... while thumbnails are ok, and most photos (maybe 70%) are ok in full size preview mode, there are some that just look like a black photo with some "overburned" green details.
It doesn't happen with all my photos and I didn't figure out yet the criteria for this happening. All of them are RAW files (CR2 format, by Canon) and the shooting settings are pretty much the same for all.
Here's a screenshot with the problem occurring:
Is anyone experiencing the same problem/bug?
There's an update for RAW cameras that can be downloaded from Apple's website but the last one (6.20 if I'm correct) only concerns Yosemite or El Capitan (I don't remember). I assume that Sierra is enough up to date in this chapter.
