Preview crashing

Every time I go to print images using Preview the beach-ball starts spinning and the program crashes. The only way to end the program is using the "Force-Quit" application. 10.7.1 did not solve the problem and I have not seen this problem in this forum or elsewhere before.

Any suggestions?
